What is covered?

AIG’s K&R insurance covers the following world-wide:

Extortion - payment demands following a threat to injure, kill or kidnap an insured person, damage property, contamination or sabotage of products, divulge trade secrets or destroy electronic data.
Kidnap - seizure or detention of an insured person for the purpose of demanding ransom.
Hijack - the illegal holding under duress of an insured person while travelling.
Detention - the holding under duress of an insured person for whatever reason other than kidnap.

In the event of a crisis the insurance may cover:
